Star Trek: The Movie was one of the biggest disappointments of my life when I saw it. I was a HUGE Star Trek fan as a kid and couldn't wait to see it.
Of course, after seeing it, I summed it up in my mind with one word: Huh?!?!
However, the franchise was saved by Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan. This movie became an instant geek cult classic.
The dudes at Robot Chicken have boiled TWOK down into an Italian style opera, and it's all kinds of awesome.

- I'm kind of a semi-geek. I grew up trying to be geeky, but all the kids in my neighborhood were into sports and stuff, so I didn't do the D&D stuff I wanted to, but played baseball and golf. As I grew older, I got more into Star Wars, Fantasy Novels, Computers, PC Gaming and such. So I think I get the best of both worlds. In short, I'm a hoopy frood who knows where his towel is.
