I've mentioned the Large Hadron Collider a few times lately. This weekend they actually start testing it out which is cool.
They are hoping to start smashing stuff and experimenting September 10th.
Anyways...if you want to learn a bit more about what the LHC is and what it's supposed to do, some nerds got together and busted out a musical tutorial:

- I'm kind of a semi-geek. I grew up trying to be geeky, but all the kids in my neighborhood were into sports and stuff, so I didn't do the D&D stuff I wanted to, but played baseball and golf. As I grew older, I got more into Star Wars, Fantasy Novels, Computers, PC Gaming and such. So I think I get the best of both worlds. In short, I'm a hoopy frood who knows where his towel is.
